From old vineyards with more than 50 years old and made carefully by hand and using traditional threading by foot in granitic stone cubes.
Winemaking Process: The fermentation yield in granite mills with a capacity of 5,000 Kg, and is performed at traditional treading. The fermentation lasted for 3 days at room temperature between 19 and 23 º C and was stopped by the addition of spirit com 77 vol%. alcohol leading to a Port wine with 19.4% vol alcohol (20 º C) and 3.6 º BE.
In the first six months remained tub in Inox cellar at a temperature of 18 º C. Later it is transferred to barrel Wood Portuguese, interning for two years.
Tasting Notes: Its colour is dark and closed but very intense, towering honey and spices. Its aroma is very clean and balanced. Despite its age it still has a lot of freshness and intensity in tannins that will allow you to keep it in bottle for many more years. However since this time is very structured, filling the mouth, with a long finish and complex where appear many flavors of honey and spices on the nose but felt which arise many others, including prunes very mature.
