Tasting notes: Segada uses Fernão Pires, Arinto and Chardonnay grapes. Because of that, it is perfumed, young and fresh and very refreshing. It has a touch of citrine fruits combined with tropical fruits. The intensity and persistence in the tasting reveals an excellent white wine.
Winemaking process: The grapes are destemmed then they go through pelicular maceration and then pressed. Cooled to 15ºC, the must passes through a vacuum filter with perlites. The fermentation is achieved through active dry yeasts and the temperature is controlled at 16ºC to 18ºC. The wine is aged in the bottles for at least one month after bottling.
Recommendations: This wine is an excellent aperitif and also complements white meat and vegetarian dishes as well as spicy foods such as Indian or Chinese.
