Tasting notes: This wine is bright and citrus in colour. It has a fruity character with predominance of prune fruits (peach and apricot) due to the large presence of the ""alvarinho"" grape variety. Its flavour is well-balanced, steady, smooth and dry.
Winemaking process: A selection of the grapes. Extraction of the must (pulp) from the 1st and 2nd pressings. Decantation (24 hours at 14ºC). Controlled fermentation is done between 18- 20ºC. Racking/soutirage is done primary through filtration then storage and cold stabilisation by contact method. Soil filtration. Then the final filtration through membranes, and lastly bottling. It can remain 2 years bottled. It contains sulphites.
Recommendations: It should be served at 11ºc. It is a good aperitif and goes well with seafood, fish and white meat dishes.
