Intense garnet with violet nuances.
Elegant, with aroma of very ripe small fruits, notes of spices and balsamc.
Full-bodied, persistent, with great ageing potential.

Accompanies well structured dishes of Mediterranean gastronomy, such as game meat, red meat with soft and aromatic condiments.

ABOUT
Located in the Paul do Boquilobo Biosphere Nature Reserve , recognized by Unesco since 1981 as a World Biosphere Reserve , our secular history farm is well represented in the colonial-style manor house and also includes the architectural ensemble with excellent cellars for wine training (with 585 barrels is one of the largest in the Tagus region ), a traditional winemaking cellar and a modern winemaking center. It has a total area of about 145 hectares, of which 130 ha with vines.
It is at Quinta São João Batista that our wines DoTejo Cabeça de Toiro and Quinta São João Batista are born, wines of a unique and distinctive character. It is possible at the Quinta to observe all kinds of birds that pass here on their migration routes, with emphasis on the famous storks that from October to May make their nest here, lending a special beauty to the landscape .
